In this time and age, the search has been on in determining a medical way to adhere towards proper weight loss methods without the use of actual exercise, especially for people who are not at all that comfortable with doing strenuous exercises and burn the excess fats in most cases.

The issue of the Bangkok pills has been something notable since it burns the fat through destroying the appetite of people and renders them weak at times. This especially holds true for people who have low levels of being able to fight the after effects of weakness. But overall, Bangkok pills will get the job done.

Health Resolutions (Part 2)


The other day I talked about 2 things to consider to have a healthier ahead. So I have been thinking of others, and here they are for you to read and think about as well.

I don�t know about you but I am an avid coffee drinker. Let�s just say that it is the first thing I take in the morning and I go through the day with a cup in my hand. I do realize, however, that drinking too much coffee is not exactly good for the health. So, one of my resolutions for this year is to lessen my coffee intake. Of course, it is easier said than done. To have an alternative, I drink tea during the day instead. Try Tazo, which Starbucks sells. Twinings tea is also great.

I also evaluated the kind of food that I eat everyday. For the most part, I usually prepare meat � pork, beef, and chicken. I do eat vegetables but mainly potatoes, broccoli, and beans � and not in large quantities at that. So, for this year, I will focus on getting more fiber. Studies show that eating more fiber makes you full faster and longer. As such, you don�t eat as much! So let�s stock up on cereals, fruits, and vegetable rich in fiber!

Last, but not the least, take a look into how fast you eat. I learned to eat quickly because of the time constraints at work. Yet it is common knowledge that eating too fast increases the tendency to eat more. My goal this year is to eat more slowly and lessen my food intake in this manner.

Check Your Eating Habits


Being healthy is not simply about exercising or working out. More than physical activity, we should also take a look into our eating habits. If you are like me, I tend to overdo it on one aspect and slack off in another. What I mean is, sometimes, I watch what I eat really conscientiously while not exercising at all. On the other hand, there are times when I engage in a lot of physical activity and yet do not watch what I eat � talk about imbalance. Yet what we are aiming for is an overall sense of well-being. That, of course, entails a balance in all aspects of health.

So why not sit back for a moment and ponder on your eating habits. When my trainer asked me about this, I was a bit wary. I love food, I can�t deny that. I love to cook and I love to eat what I cook. I even love eating out a lot. Yet I like what she said � do not deprive yourself. Deprivation will only lead to binges later on. Just check your habits, that is all you need. Eat when you are hungry and stop eating just right before you get full. That could mean eating 6 times a day!

Eat meat, sure! Just don�t eat to the point that you cannot breathe anymore. Snacking � no problem. Just make sure you get the nutrients your body needs from other foods. Moderation is the key here. Again, do not starve yourself, instead, happy eating!

Rate Yourself


In this post, I�d like to share what we covered in my first session with my fitness trainer. This trainer of mine seems to have combined the best of both worlds by intertwining the mind and the body. We conducted a self-assessment the other day.

First ask yourself about your eating habits. What foods do you eat most? Meat? Vegetables? How are they prepared? In what quantities do you eat them? What do you drink and in what quantities as well? Once you have laid out the details, you yourself will be able to assess if you have healthy eating habits. Whether we admit it or not, we know that there are certain foods that are good for us. The bottom line is not deprivation but a balance between the good and the not-so-good.

Then evaluate your sleeping habits. What time do you go to sleep? More than that, check how many hours of sleep you get each day. Studies have shown that by 10 or 11 P.M., our body starts cleansing itself of toxins. That is why ideally, we must be asleep by that time. If it is not possible, then at least make up for it by getting quality sleep.

Next on the list was exercise. How much exercise do you get a week? It need not be in the form of going to the gym. Any kind of sport, or even walking, counts as exercise. This is where I was sorely lacking as I essentially live a sedentary lifestyle. I hate going to the gym but I love to play ping pong. So we made a compromise � our work out sessions would be a combination of flexibility routines, weights, and ping pong!

Now I have an idea of what I want to achieve and how to go about it. Why don�t you join me and try to asses your health-fitness status?
