Have you ever thought about what it must have been like to have bad eyesight during a time when there was nothing available to you that could help? Things that somewhat resembled the eyeglasses of today have existed for several centuries, but when you think back to medieval times or even times before Christ, the thought of having to navigate life whilst being practically blind is daunting.
